DON'T BOTHER MY PIGS

Mk 5:1-19

Intro

Should never walk in darkness

Darkness assimilates you to its environment 

Darkness makes you allergic to the light (Jn 3:20)

    a. Satan’s plan to keep you from the light (2 Cor 4:4)

Darkness blinds you to the Truth (1Jn 2:11)

 

 

 

I.      GETTING USED TO THE DARK

 

   1. Assimilates you to your environment (Mat 6:22-23)

   2. Actually proud of it (Rom 1:32)

   3. Darkness of sin turns you into a slave (Rom 6:12)

 

 

II.     COMFORTABLE WITH THE PIGS

 

    1. Anything else will bother his conscience (2 Chr 18:7)

      a. Truth bothers the conscience (Jn 8:7-9)

    2. Get out of the hog pen (Lk 15:15-20)

 

 

III.    LEAVE MY PIGS ALONE 

 

    1. Don’t make me feel uncomfortable (2 Tim 4:1-5)

    2. More concerned about our rights instead of God's (Mar 5:15-17)
