I. THE REALITY OF HELL
1. What Jesus revealed about it:
a. It is a place of torment (Lk 16:23-25)
- Eternal (Rev 20:10)
b. There is no MERCY (Lk 16:24)
c. Sinners are begging for their FAMILIES (Lk 16:28)
d. The best preachers of REPENTANCE are there (Lk 16:30)
e. WORMS will eat you without dying (Mk 9:43-48)
f. PURPOSE? God’s wrath over sin (Isa 53:10) (Mk 9:49)
- Never intended for man (Mat 25:41)
II. WHO'S GOING THERE?
1. Every person who dies in their sins (1 Jn 2:1-2)
- Propitiation satisfies Gods wrath (Isa 53:10)
a. It's being unsaved that takes you there (Jn 3:18)
III. HOW TO STAY OUT OF IT
1. Your debt to God must be paid (Rom 6:23)
a. You must have your sins forgiven (Act 3:19-20)
b. By the work of the cross (Col 2:13-14)
2. Repent (Act 2:38)
a. God's mercy is waiting for you (2 Pet 3:9)
