INTRO.

Some things we believe are non-essentials. But not believing them will mean a loss of benefits and rewards Such as:

1. Divine healing/health

2. Prosperity/Success

3. Gifts of the Spirit

4. Miracles

Others include different opinions on some things:

1. Communion (wine vs. juice, leavened vs. unleavened)

2. Dress codes (make-up etc.)

3. Day of worship (Sat vs. Sun)

4. Rapture (Pre, Mid, Post trib?)

5. Dancing, Drinking, Smoking

I. ABSOLUTES FOR SALVATION

1. You must believe Christ is God Jn 1:1

2. You cannot earn salvation Eph 2:8-9

3. Salvation cannot occur without repentance Act 17:30, Mk 6:12

II. ABSOLUTES FOR DISCIPLESHIP

1. Renounce your life & take up the cross Lk 14:26-33

2. Endure chastening Heb 12:7

III. ABSOLUTES FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

1. Living to the flesh will kill your spiritual life Gal 6:8

2. Submit to your spiritual leaders Heb 13:17

3. Faith Rom 1:17

4. Word Mat 4:4
