As a child of God, you have entered into covenant with Him. Covenant children are privileged to favor, power, and benefits. The Great Exchange at the Cross Our weaknesses for his strength (2 Cor. 12:10) Our sins for his righteousness (2 Cor. 5:21) Our sicknesses for his healing (Isa. 53:5) Our sadness for his joy (Isa. 61:3) Our need for his supply (Phi. 4:16-17) Our poverty for his wealth (2 Cor. 8:9) When you get converted you automatically enter into covenant with God.

I. PROTECTION (My shepherd)

1. Someone is watching over you (Psa. 91)

II. PROVISION (I shall not want)

1. No need to ever beg (Psa. 37:25)

III. REST (Makes me to lie down)

1. Your first position in Christ is to:

a. Sit (Eph. 2:5-6)

b. Then Walk (Eph. 4:1)

c. Then finally Stand (Eph. 6:14)

2. Free from worry and anxiety (Mat. 11:28-30)

IV. PEACE (Leads me beside still waters)

1. Peace with God (Rom. 5:1)

2. Peace within yourself (Jn. 14:27)

3. Peace of mind (Isa. 26:3)

4. Surpasses all understanding (Phi 4:7)

V. RESTORATION (Restores my soul)

1. Inner wounds (Jer. 30:17)

2. Restoration of spiritual life (1 Jn. 1:9)

3. Restoration of disciplinary loss (Joel 2:25)

VI. LEADING OF THE SPIRIT (Leads me)

1. All God’s children can trust the Holy Spirit to lead them (Rom. 8:14)
